Lassa Fever patient dies in Abuja - Health Minister

The Minister of Health, Professor Isaac Adewole has confirmed the death of one person as a result of Lassa Fever disease at the National Hospital in Abuja.

The death came a day after the Ministry confirmed that 41 persons had died so far, with a report that there were no new cases.

Announcing the death at the National Hospital on Wednesday, the Minister of Health, Professor Isaac Adewole, called on Health workers at all levels to be more vigilant and look out for patients with symptoms of Lassa Fever.
