Lady Gaga shows some leg in a slit scarlet gown at the premiere of American Horror Story: Hotel at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday night October 3.

The 29-year-old singer shared a sweet smooch on the red carpet with fiance Taylor Kinney and posed alongside show's creator Ryan Murphy.

The couple got engaged in February after three and a half years of dating.

Sanusi: Nigerians won't stone devil during Hajj

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi II said Nigerians will no longer participate in the stoning of devil ritual, except they get accommodation close to Jamrat, where the exercise will take place.

Sanusi's reaction followed the recent stampede in Saudi Arabia that killed several pilgrims, including about 70 Nigerians when he visited Sokoto State pilgrims at their Makka residence on Friday October 2,

''During the era of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), he permitted pilgrims who came on camels to stay in Makkah after Arafat, instead of staying in Mina and sleeping at Muzdalifa,'' he said. ''So, if the Prophet could give such grace to some people, just to protect their animals, why didn’t our scholars educate our people properly to avoid this untoward hardship and death. Therefore, it will be part of my recommendations to the federal government that, if we cannot get accommodation close to Jamrat where the Arabs reside in Mina, then this year may be the last time we will sleep in Mina and Muzdalifa because we want to stone the devil. Besides that, if one deliberately refuses to even perform the stoning of the devil rituals, all he needs to do is to slaughter a ram. So, if this is the situation, why do we go and suffer and die instead of sacrificing a ram? As is it presently, sleeping in Mina and Muzdalifa is not backed by any Hadith or verse of the Qur’an. So, why do we continue to do it?''

Muhammad Ali honored in his Kentucky hometown

Sports Illustrated have named its Sportsman Legacy Award after Muhammad Ali on Thursday October 1 in his hometown Kentucky in the United States.

The 73-year-old legendary boxer, who is battling Parkisnon's disease, was joined by fellow boxing legends George Foreman, Larry Holmes and former NBA star Shaquille O'Neal also were on hand for the ceremony on the 40th anniversary of Ali's third fight with Joe Frazier in the Philippines, an epic 14-round battle known as the "Thrilla in Manila." Ali earned his second victory over Frazier when the former champion didn't come out for the final round, and that fight is considered one of the greatest events in boxing and sports.

''Sometimes I say I'm still dreaming. Being a kid, I never thought I'd be sitting next to the champ, watching him receive an award. That wasn't in my dream playbook, '' O'Neal said, a long-time friend of the family who posed alongside Ali's wife Lonnie.

''This is the greatest man I've ever met in my life,'' Foreman said. ''I get excited and my heart beats (fast) every time I meet him. He's a good friend. I never thought a guy would beat me up like that and become my friend. Ali got a heart. He will give you the shirt off his back.''

Ali did not speak during the ceremony.

The immediate past Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke has been released on bail after she was arrested on Friday October 2 alongside four other people on allegations of money laundering by the UK National Crimes Agency in the United Kingdom.

According to Vanguard, London Police will charge her to court for money laundering on Monday.
