Rosie O'Donnell Files for Divorce from Michelle Rounds

Rosie O'Donnell, 52, filed for divorce from her wife Michelle Rounds,42,  Friday in Manhattan State Supreme Court on the grounds of "an irretrievably broken relationship. The docs reveal they have a prenup, according to papers obtained by People.

O'Donnell revealed she was separating from Rounds and leaving The View to focus on her health and her children.

In the docs, O'Donnell says they've been separated since November.

O'Donnell and Rounds wed quietly in June of 2012 at their home in Nyack, New York.

They have shared custody of Dakota, the 2-year-old daughter they adopted together.

O'Donnell has four older children with her ex partner Kelli Carpenter.

LeBron James reportedly said that McDonald's, which pays him millions of dollars each year for endorsements, was a part of his regular diet when he was unhealthy.

According to Business Insider, the 30-year-old NBA All-Star made the comments after he was asked how old he was when he started lifting weights.

"Umm, 24," he replied. "I ate McDonald's my first couple years in the NBA. I didn't stretch. It didn't matter. I was 18 and I could do whatever I wanted to."

James later backpedaled, however, after he was asked about when he last ate McDonald's.

"Every day. Every day. Every day," James said, according to Cleveland.com. "I had it this morning. Egg and sausage McMuffin. All day."

James reportedly earns $53 million annually from endorsements. He has been starring in McDonald's commercials for years. McDonald's signed James five years ago.

The 31-year-old fashion designer and actress, Amber Rose said this on her twitter account,

Lupita Nyong'o's $150,000 pearl Oscars dress stolen

Lupita Nyong'o’s custom-made Calvin Klein dress she wore to the Academy Awards on Sunday has been stolen in Hollywood.

The $150,000 pearl-studded gown with 6,000 natural white Akoya pearls hand-sewn by 25 people over 10 weeks, it was lifted from the London Hotel in West Hollywood while the actress was out of the room.

The hotel has since issued a statement saying management were “working with law enforcement” to locate the missing item.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Lieutenant William Nash confirmed that officers were examining CCTV footage for evidence.

Independent Uk reports that “Ms Nyong'o was not in the room at the time of the theft,” Deputy John Mitchell told Reuters.

No arrests have been made.

Speaking about her fashion choice during a typically banal grilling on the Oscars red carpet on Sunday, the 12 Years A Slave star, who won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress last year, she said she was “just wearing my diamonds and pearls. My homage to (musician) Prince”.

Prominent Russian opposition figure Boris Nemtsov shot dead

Russia's Interior Ministry says Boris Nemtsov, a leading opposition figure and former deputy prime minister, has been shot and killed near the Kremlin, according AP

Nemtsov, a sharp critic of President Vladimir Putin, was killed early Saturday. His death comes just a day before a major opposition rally in Moscow.

The Interior Ministry, which oversees Russia's police force, said that Nemtsov was shot four times from a passing car as he was walking a bridge just outside the Kremlin.

Nemtsov served a deputy prime minister in the 1990s and later became a prominent opponent to Putin, helping organize street protests and exposing official corruption.

Kanye West Starts Crying During BBC Interview, Needs a Break While Talking About Late Fashion Mentor

You never know how Kanye West's deep emotional reservoir is going to manifest itself.

Today he required a break right in the middle of a BBC Radio 1 interview when he choked up and then quietly started to cry while discussing one of his mentors, late fashion professor Louise Wilson.

"Last time I saw her," West recalled, taking a deep breath, "we had dinner at Hakkasan, which is my favorite restaurant in London. And I think she knew that she was going to pass, and she just wanted to give me some words of advice moving forward, and she was asking me about my daughter, asked me about my wife...and she said, you know, 'So many students, they don't give it their all, and the problem is, soon as they do anything halfway good when they're 2 years old, 3 years old, their parents clap.'"

At which interviewer Zane Lowe promptly started clapping. Kanye smiled.

"Exactly," the rapper agreed. "They clap. And she just looked at me and she said, 'Kanye, don't clap.'"
Kanye continued, "I didn't know we were going to lose her...and she told me, she said, you know, 'Thank you for the times where I came to performances and this has like really meant a lot to me, with...'"

He then trailed off, covering his eyes with his right hand. Pretty soon he had both hands covering his eyes as the tears welled up. And he couldn't continue immediately, so much so that Zane patted him on the knee and said, "We'll take a minute." Kanye left the studio briefly.

"That's never happened to me in an interview before," a once again smiling Kanye said as he returned to his seat and they both settled back down. He looked down and added, "I think I'm good."

What Buhari failed to tell UK audience – Fani Kayode

The spokesperson of President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign organisation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has stated that the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari, has failed to inform his audience in the United Kingdom how he loves the extremist group, Boko Haram.

Mr. Buhari spoke at Chatham House in London Thursday where he stated that if elected, he would restore Nigeria’s lost glory.

In his reaction via a press statement, Mr. Fani- Kayode said it was‎ amazing that Mr. Buhari refused to participate in a debate in his own country but was ready to go to a foreign country to sell his message in a desperate attempt to curry favour with the people of that country.

“We wonder whether General Buhari told his foreign audience whilst he was in London how much he loves Boko Haram,” he said.

Boko Haram has been terrorising the people of Nigeria, with reports saying the terrorist group has killed over 13,000 Nigerians since 2009.

Mr. Fani-Kayode also said he wondered whether the former head of state told his audience that he once said that he believed that ”an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the north” and that the Boko Haram terrorists should be appeased, pampered, resettled and paid allowances.

“We wonder if he told them that he was once nominated by Boko Haram to be their spokesman and representative during proposed negotiations with the Federal Government,” he said.

The PDP presidential campaign spokesperson said he was surprised Mr. Buhari did not tell his audience that he was the one who ordered and organised the “violent injecting, crating and disgraceful kidnapping of a former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by the name of Alhaji Umaru Dikko from the streets of London 31 years ago when he was in power”.

He said the president’s campaign would express its views about Mr. Buhari’s “stage-managed show of shame at Chatham House at a later date” and, that at that time, more details would be provided.

“For now, all we can say is that it is truly pitiful that a former Head of State of the Federal Republic of Nigeria believes that it is more important to win the hearts and minds of the British than it is to win the hearts and minds of the Nigerian people.

“General Buhari can run to any foreign country in the world to say anything that he likes but at the end of the day the decision as to who will lead Nigeria as from May 29th this year will be determined by no one else but the Nigerian people. The game is on here and not in London,” he said
