An explosion of colour, feathers, music and dance awaited photographer Fabien Astre when he travelled to the largest tribal gathering in Papua New Guinea.
The festival is located in a small town called Goroka and attracts thousands of people from all over the country to proudly display the cultures of their districts.
Tribesmen and women, representing over a hundred different tribes from all over the country, take part in this dazzling array of colour and energy that showcases the diversity of the island.
