Lagos govt seals 53 churches, mosques, hotels over noise pollution

Lagos State Government on Wednesday sealed over 53 churches, mosques and hotels across the state over noise pollution and environmental ills, following complaints from residents, the General Manager of Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA, Engr. Adebola Shabi said in an interview.

According to Shabi, the premises shut were approved for residential but after few years, they were converted worship centers, saying ''It has been constituting nuisance to other neighbors.''
