Akpabio never met President Buhari in respect of his pending Appeal Court judgement as speculated in the social media.
The purported picture (above) in circulation was taken on the 27th November 2015 when the Senate President led a Senate Delegation to the State House for a Dinner with the President and other members of the Presidential team.
The impression the Akpabio's men want to create by circulating the photograph on the media space is to deceive the reading public that he (Akpabio) has finally negotiated his deal with the president concerning his Appeal Court pending judgement, just so that the Appeal Court Judges will favour him. Trust Akpabio, he knows to how to play to the gallery.
That purported picture has also been made a featured picture in today's Vanguard Newspaper for the print reading audience, this depicts his level of desperation.
