President Barack Obama's oldest daughter Malia, 17, will attend Harvard University beginning in the fall of 2017, the White House announced on Sunday.
''The President and Mrs. Obama announced today that their daughter Malia will attend Harvard University in the fall of 2017 as a member of the Class of 2021,'' the office of the First Lady announced. ''Malia will take a gap year before beginning school.''
Malia was reportedly choosing between a number of Ivy League schools, including Princeton, Brown, and University of Pennsylvania. She spent last summer interning on the set of Girls.
