Nigerians React To Gold Plated Coffin Used In Burying Emeka Offor's Father

Multi billionaire and Chairman of Chrome Group of Companies Chief Emeka Offor buried his father in an elaborate ceremony in Anambra State today.

The event attracted several dignatories from all works of life including several clergies.

There was so much to eat and drink..Several musical groups were also on parade.

The cynosure of all eyes at the ceremony was the gold plated casket used in burying the old man. The casket which according a source who spoke to CKN news cost several millions of Naira. Nigerians have taken to the social media to comment of the casket. While several people condemned what they described as a waste of money and resources of the part of the billionaire in buying such an expensive casket..

Others were of the opinion that the businessman is at liberty to spend his money as he likes and in whatever manner he deems fit.

To some others, the show of affluence by the businessman was absolutely unnecessary since the money could have been used to take care of some people in need.

But despite the divided opinion, one thing remained clear, the burial ceremony would be a topic for discussion in a very long time.
