The able SUG President, Comr. Okoye Abdulazeez coordinated over 3, 000 students in a peaceful solidarity move where the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Michael Adikwu was the only person whose present was highly demanded by the students.
The presence of the V.C at the venue of the solidarity movement paved a way forward to prevention of other Calamity in the present and also in the future.
We fought a war without shedding a blood. We came, we saw and we conquered.
Mr President wishes to extend his sincere appreciations to the peace loving but ever dogged and rugged students of this University over the conduct and high level of confidence and support accorded to him to see that the solidarity move came to a conclusive end without any negative hitch.
Once again, Mr President expresses his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased. May the Lord Almighty give the family and the entire University the fortitude to bear the loss, and also stop untimely demise in our university.
