Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero, has spoken concerning the car crash that led to his broken rib in a on Thursday night.
The Argentine forward said he was travelling to the airport following a concert in the Dutch capital when the driver of his taxi skidded into a post.
The striker was rushed to a hospital in Amsterdam after the car accident.
Aguero and a friend had been guests at a Maluma concert and were heading back to the airport when their driver lost control of the vehicle.
He told Argentine radio station, Radio Metro, “The driver did not see the curve and skidded.
“When we were skidding we hit a post.
“I’ve broken a rib, now I’m resting. It hurts a lot but I’ll soon be discharged.”
Aguero is expected back at Manchester on Friday afternoon, having been discharged from hospital.
