Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, is plotting a move for Manchester United’s Anthony Martial next summer, as he considers potential replacements for Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez is in the final year of his Arsenal contract and is all but certain to leave the Emirates at the end of the season, if not in January.
Wenger is looking for a replacement, who can operate through the middle and out wide and fellow Frenchman Martial fits the bill.
Martial has been largely limited to appearances from the substitutes’ bench under Jose Mourinho and rarely gets a chance to play through the middle.
That has given Wenger a belief that Martial might be open to a switch to the Emirates. Daily Post
