Pastor Bakare denies being appointed as a Member of Buhari's transition committee

The General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare has denied the news that went viral yesterday that he has been appointed as a member of those to screen nominees into transition committee for President elect Muhammadu Buhari.

He made this known in a statement by his spokesman Yinka Odunmakin, Pastor Bakare said he has not been contacted or informed by such.

Mr Kayode Ogundamisi who is a member of the All Progressives Congress and supporter of the president-elect Muhammadu Buhari had announced on his facebook page that the incoming-president has appointed Mr Bakare

The transitional committee is expected to work with incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan in handing over notes and taking care of administrative activities prior to the official handing over of government to Buhari.
