Speaking in Russian, he tells the camera: saying: "We devastated all the Ukies (Ukrainians) around here and we took away a whole safe with lots of dough in it.
"There are probably around 20 million UAH (£500,000).
"Now we have the safe and will try to blow it up because we couldn't open it any other way."
Seconds later, he asks the cameraman if he can go ahead.
He then detonates the explosives strapped to the safe and kaboom…parts fly everywhere.
Yet as the smoke clears, it seems the masterminds behind the explosive charges must have thought paper was indestructible.
The baffled ringleader then asks: "Where is the dough, did we destroy it?"
And the camera zooms in on the safe to show nothing there but burning black rubble.
