Just after the swearing in of the newly elected public servants in Nigeria, many high ranking police officers have been appointed as ADC (AIDE-DE-CAMP). As you read this, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode has also got one and he is Deputy Superintendent of Police, Olumide Raheem. He is one of the stepsons of Oba Rilwan Akiolu, the Oba of Lagos. Olumide is the first son of Olori Titi Akiolu, who is the last wife of Oba Akiolu. They got married many years ago after Olori Titi lost her first husband.
Though they never bore any children among themselves our source revealed to us that, it may be so hard for anyone to know that Olumide is not Oba Akiolu's biological son. This is because Oba Akiolu has always assumed the role of a father to all Olori Titi’s children. “They have been married for over 18 years and even all the 3 Oloris love Olori Titi, because of her calm nature. “You know tradition permits Kabiyesi to marry as many wives he wants. There is no jealousy in the palace (Ko si oowu Lafin)“ revealed our source.
DSP Olumide Raheem was a former Divisional Crime Officer of Bode Thomas Police Station. He also has a robust education. He attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania in United States of America and read Computer Information System. He later proceeded to Northumbria University to read Sociology in United States. He has since assumed the duty and he was sighted with the Governor when he stormed Iyana Ipaja, Alimosho Area which was the scene of the fire incident that occurred last week.
