Colonel Sambo Dasuki (retired) has dragged the Department of State Services (DSS) to court to protest his continued detention, which has prevented him from traveling abroad for medical reasons.
The former National Security Adviser is asking the court for a mandatory order directing the DSS to remove all human and non-human barricades and or siege laid around and about his residence.
Dasuki is facing trial for possession of fire arms without license during his time as NSA to the former President Jonathan.
The crime, according to the DSS, is punishable under Section 27(i)(a)(i) of the Firearms Act Cap F28 LFN 2004.
