Lesbian couple Courtney Wilson (left) and Taylor Guerrero from Los Angeles have filed a federal lawsuit on Tuesday October 27 claiming they were wrongfully arrested and assaulted by an officer Bobby Harrison after he saw them kissing in a Foodland store on Oahu's North Shore while on vacation in Hawaii in March 2015.
They spent three days in jail and were charged with felony assault on an officer, which were later dismissed.
Honolulu Police Department opened an internal investigation into the allegations but the officer remains on full active duty
According to the Daily Mail, they spent three days in jail and each paid a bail bondsman $1,300 for bail that was set at $12,000 each.
