How I escaped assassination attempt - Buratai

Chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai on Monday spoke with reporters days after he escaped the alleged Nigeria's Shiite attack on his convoy on Saturday December 12 in Zaria, Kaduna.

"You want to know how I escaped? It was by the will of God that I was able to escape from that place," he said in an interview with newsmen in Abuja.


"I think NTA was there and they aired the clip, it was very clear,'' Buratai  said of what transpired during the attack on his convoy. ''They were violent. Definitely this is very clear. The clips are there. That was what happened."
