Roman Abramovich meets Chelsea directors to discuss Mourinho's future

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and Blues' board of directors have held a number of meetings about Jose Mourinho's position at the club since Monday's disastrous 2-1 defeat at Leicester, leaving them 16th in the table with 15 points.

It is not clear whether the 52-year-old Chelsea manager will be in charge for Saturday's home game with fellow strugglers Sunderland.

Guus Hiddink is being considered by Chelsea should the Premier League club decide to sack Mourinho. Other names are Avram Grant, Fabio Capello and Brendan Rodgers.
