Buhari visits Ghanaian president John Mahama

Nigerian President Buhari is currently in Accra, Ghana on one-day official visit to meet with Ghanaian President John Mahama.

During the visit, Buhari will confer with his Ghanaian counterpart, President John Dramani Mahama, on bilateral relations, regional security, trade and other issues of common interest to Nigeria, Ghana and other members of the Economic Community of West African States.

Later in the day, Buhari, 72, will have an interactive session with Nigerian community as well as Nigerian businessmen based in that country.

Mr president is being joined by the National Security Adviser, Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd.), and the Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defence, Justice and Industry, Trade and Investment.
