Super Bowl 2016 Ratings: 111.9 Million tuned in

On Sunday, the Super Bowl 50 was a big success for CBS, as on average about 111.9 million viewers watched the big game between the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers.

The game peaked at 115.5 million viewers about halfway through the game.

Overall, CBS drew the third largest broadcast audience on record! The 2014 and 2015 Super Bowls both drew larger audiences with 112.2 million and 114.4 million, respectively.

The Broncos won the game 24-10, and many are speculating that the relatively low score was a factor in the lesser rating.
