Today is a special day in the life of Chief S.A Alimi, the Sagamu high Chief in Ogun state, as he celebrates his birthday. The philanthropic man of the people was born on Feb. 2, 1942, into the family of late Imam Alimi and Mary Ebunola Alimi, a.K.a. Igi Aje.
The stylish Ogun Chief worked at Marina Lagos before proceeding to the United Kingdom.
But briefly, let’s tell you his educational background; in 1951, Chief Alimi went to St Paul ljoku Sagamu where he had his primary school education from 1951-1958. Later, he proceeded to United Boys Modern College, from1959-1961.
He has worked in different capacities. Chief Aluminium worked at Royal Exchange Insurance, Marina, Lagos from 1962-1965. In 1962, he proceeded to the UK for further education as an Engineer. He returned to Nigeria in 1976, and in 1977-1984 he worked at National Oil and Chemical Marketing, Marina Lagos, where he held various positions.
Again, in 1984 he worked at Civil Service Teaching and Technical School in Technical Department both Ilara and Ayetoro. Chief (Engr.) returned to the UK in 1989 to further Industrial experience before he retired in the government department the United Kingdom, March 6, 2011.
Chief is a loving father who has carved a big niche for himself amongst his contemporary
His hobby is reading, writing and listening to music. While his favorite colors include, blue and white.
