Breaking News: David Cameron shoved in the street by member of the public in shocking security lapse by surrounding protection team

As the Prime Minster came out of Leeds Civic Hall a man ran up and shoved him before security guards could intervene. Mr Cameron was in the city to promote the Government's proposed high speed three railway line cutting travelling times between northern cities. The PM spotted the man running up to him and took a step back and to the left before security noticed and bundled the protester to the floor. The PM did not fall over and calmly walked to his waiting car before being driven away from the scene uninjured. Tory MP Mark Pritchard demanded a full investigation into how the Metropolitan Police security team allowed the man to get so close to the Prime Minister. He called for the Met's commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe to launch an immediate internal inquiry.
