Tyson's Recalls 50,000 Pounds of Chicken Wings

Tyson Foods Inc. is recalling 52,486 pounds of chicken wing product for an "off odor" scent, according to a news release from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The 28-ounce bags of Tyson's Any'tizers Fully Cooked Hot Wings were produced on Oct. 24 and 25 of this year and shipped to stores nationwide.

The affected packages have use by/sell by dates of October 24, 2016 and October 25, 2016.

The problem was discovered when Tyson's received complaints about an"off odor" and mild illness following consumption, though the USDA has not confirmed any injury or illness connected with the recall.

Consumers who have purchased this product are urged not to consume it. The product should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
