Update: 3 killed, 8 injured in Kano terror attacks

At least 3 persons have been confirmed dead while 8 injured on Wednesday afternoon after an explosion believed to be from improvised explosive devices went off at the GSM market in Kano, Nigeria.

''Kano blast killed 3 people & 8 others injured, it was allegedly set off by 2 Women who arrived in a car & went straight into the market,'' Kayode Akintemi said on his Twitter handle Wednesday.

The explosion occurred less than 24 hours after a bomb blast at a crowded park in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, left at least 34 persons dead while at least 80 others were injured.
