Veteran Actor George Williams dies at 87!

Veteran Ghanaian actor George Williams died on Monday August 1 at the KorleBu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana, where he was rushed to after complaining of illness at home. He was 87

Williams is popular for his role in TV Series, Ultimate Paradise.

Williams fondly called Uncle George was known for his contribution and influence in the Ghanaian movie industry.

Before his death, he was a teacher at the Accra Film School. Williams was also a broadcaster who had previously worked with the British Broadcasting Corporation, Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Service, and the Liberian Advertising Service.

He acted in several films and TV series including '' Mama'', ''Genesis Chapter X'', ''Bloody Kids'' and "My Sister's Honour"
