'AIT' Celebrates It's 20th Anniversary

Africa's foremost and Nigeria's first authentic private TV station AIT is today celebrating it's 20th anniversary in a grand style.

Chief Raymond Alegho Dokpesi led media edifice have in the past 20 yrs been a symbol of broadcasting in Nigeria and Africa with so many firsts. Some of which were Raypower Fm and AIT (First radio station and TV station in Nigeria to broadcast 24 hours none stop 365 days).

AIT is also credited through its live broadcast truncated Olusegun Obasanjo's 3rd term agenda (Life Presidency ambition). It is also to AIT's credit that in 1999, it broadcast the live transmission of the then PDP convention for close to 36 hours non stop that produced Olusegun Obasanjo.

It's contribution to entertainment via such programmes as Primetime Africa, Gbedu is still fresh in our minds. In politics, such programmes like Kaakaki, Focus Nigeria etc are second to none.

All roads lead to the Kpaduma hill ,Aso Rock Headquarters of the Station today as the Organization rolls out the drums to celebrate.
