The death was confirmed by Marshall Arts, the company of Cocker's agent, Barrie Marshall, in England and he said,
“It will be impossible to fill the space he leaves in our hearts.”
He goes on to say,
“He was without the doubt the greatest rock/soul voice ever to come out of Britain and remained the same man throughout his life.”Cocker is survived by his wife Pam, his brother Victor, a stepdaughter and two grandchildren. Along with his wife, Cocker set up the Cocker Kids' Foundation to support local youth.
