Abati: Why are APC supporters so desperate?

The Presidential Spokesman/Special Adviser on Media & Publicity, Reuben Abati shared this on his instagram page when a Twitter User, Mr. Aye Dee (see above) complained that APC supporters are attacking President Jonathan's supporters in the Northern part of Nigeria. Read what Abati wrote below:

''Why this desperation? Several verified Reports like Abubakars' of the many Goodluck Jonathan supporters being persecuted, harassed, intimidated and assaulted for their Pro-GEJ convictions especially in the North. It shouldn't matter now who you support, Violence is not part of this game of people and numbers. Please join this cause and Say No to Violence. We won't get distracted though #TransformationContinues #ForwardNigeria''

Mr. Aye Dee asked, what will happen after, if APC losses the presidential election in February 14 2015?
