Jonathan addresses Nigerians as they await official announcement of results by INEC Chairman

The president made the announcement on his facebook page.

''We waited patiently to vote in these elections, now I want to urge all Nigerians to also wait patiently for the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to collate and announce results. We must ensure that we do not get involved in acts that breach our peaceful co-existence that we patriotically demonstrated during the elections. May God bless Nigeria,''
