More 11 million Nigerians will be able to vote - that is more than the entire population of Portugal - Jonathan

''Yesterday was the deadline for collecting PVCs and I am delighted to celebrate the fact that now over 11 million more of our citizens will be able to vote – that is more than the entire population of Portugal. Our democracy can only be meaningful if the frontiers of participation and freedom is engendered in the polity. Let me use this opportunity to again thank our gallant military who have been tackling Boko Haram in the Northeast. Now more of our fellow countrymen will be able to cast their vote on March 28. Our democratic wheel of progress as a Nation is unstoppable. Let's keep moving forwards,'' Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan posted to his facebook page.
