Kensington Palace releases statement on Middleton's birth to Royal Baby Girl!

Kate Middleton 33-year-old welcomed second child (a baby girl) with her husband Prince Williams on Saturday May 2 2015 in the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital in London, England. No name has been given yet.

Official statement from Kensington Palace reads,

''Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a daughter at 8.34am. The baby weighs 8lbs 3oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.''

The baby’s birth came just three days after Will and Kate‘s fourth wedding anniversary, so there will definitely be lots of celebration around this date in years to come.

This is the second child for the royal couple. They are the parents of a 21-month-old baby boy named Prince George.
