How Tiwa Savage's husband, Teebillz nearly killed himself on Thursday morning! [EXCLUSIVE]

When Teebillz shared his suicide note on Thursday morning April 28 on Instagram while pouring his heart out about the demise of his marriage to Tiwa Savage, many of us thought/hoped he was just talking, but he wasn't. Tunji 'Teebillz' Balogun tried to commit suicide that morning by jumping off the Lekki- Ikoyi toll bridge and this is fact!

According to an eye-witness named Chukwuma Ani, who witnessed the incident and was one of the men who pulled Teebillz off the bridge, told LIB that around past 9 this morning while driving on the Lekki-Ikoyi toll bridge, a car hit his own from behind, damaging his car. He said he came out of the car and approached the driver of the vehicle that hit his. He didn't know who the man was (it was Teebillz) but he said he berated him for hitting his car and asked the man to come out and assess the damage caused to his car. The man looked at him and told him to leave...that he was there for a reason. That he was planning to commit suicide and Chukwuma Ani would hear about it later...

Not knowing who the guy was or understanding why he was talking suicide, Mr Ani said he kept insisting that the driver must come down from his car and see the damage he had caused to his car. He said he noticed alcohol on the floor of the driver's car so thought the man was drunk. He said while shouting and berating the driver for hitting his car, the guy just suddenly drove his car with speed to the front.

Ani said he got into his own car and gave chase and was surprised to see the driver of the car parking his car in the middle of the bridge as other cars drove past. He said he parked in front of the driver and approached the man again, telling him that he couldn't even apologize for hitting his car and was instead trying to drive off. He said as he was berating the man, he (Teebillz) got down from his car and walked to the bridge railing.

He said he stood there wondering what the driver was trying to do and it was at that point that two other cars approached them. He said as he was trying to figure out who the new comers were, Teebillz had moved to the bridge railing and was trying to jump. Mr. Ani said a light skinned guy came out from the first car and began running towards Teebillz screaming and that was when he realized what was going on..

"I thought I was watching a movie" Ani told LIB "the man held the railing and tried to jump over it and that was when the yellow man held him and started shouting for help. The two of them nearly fell into the water. I quickly joined the yellow man to pull the guy out and while we were struggling with him, one PSquare twin (Peter Okoye) and Banky W joined us to pull the man out " Ani said

LIB called Peter Okoye to confirm he was there but he refused to say anything "Even if I was there, I can't say anything about it" he said.

We hear Teebillz is doing okay now and is surrounded by family and friends. People need to take depression seriously in Nigeria - a lot of people are so depressed and struggling and don't usually have anywhere to turn to for help. Let's always lend a helping hand. Hope Teebillz gets better.

Read the ''Very Interesting'' thing Toke Makinwa says God shared with her!

Don't be afraid to dream. Today God shared something very interesting with me. I was as usual way in over my head with worry. Thoughts like how will it happen? When will it happen? Can my faith carry this promise? Who am I to even dream this big and the rest flooded my mind and God took me back some years ago, I wanted to change my car back then and deep down I had dreams of buying an SUV but I couldn't see it happening for me. I talked myself down with worry and finally settled my mind on another car. My faith saw the jeep but my mind could only comprehend me buying a car and while I settled to buy it, God had other plans. Today I heard him say remember when you saw yourself at this level and I gave you what you thought you will never have? Trust me my child, dream BIG and I will make it even bigger. I looked up and right beside me in traffic was the type of vehicle I almost bought. It made me smile cos God gave me what I didn't think at that time I could get. He had to make me see this car to get it. I share this to encourage anyone out there, don't limit yourself, it doesn't matter if you can't see that which you dream of, keep dreaming! God will exceed your expectations. Dream, write it down. Keep working at it and he will make it bigger.

IGP orders prosecution of persons selling petrol in plastic containers

The Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase has directed all Zonal Assistant Inspectors-General of Police and FCT/State Commands Commissioners of Police to arrest anybody found selling petrol and other petroleum products in plastic containers.

The order becomes necessary due to concerns emanating from the activities of black marketers, especially those who sell petroleum products inside plastic jerry-cans, the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olabisi Kolawole, said in a press release on Tuesday.
The IGP, who issued the directives in Abuja on Monday, said apart from the hardship this act is causing to fuel buyers, it has also rendered some innocent and law abiding citizens homeless due to fire outbreak from jerry-can petrol storage, Kolawole revealed in the press release posted on the police’s official Facebook page.

He noted that fuel products such as petrol are highly flammable and if not stored and handled properly, can seriously endanger people, property and the environment.

The IGP warned fuel attendants at filling stations to desist from selling petrol inside jerry-can/plastic container, adding that both the buyers and the sellers of the products will be arrested and prosecuted under the law.

Don Jazzy's father reacts to Papa Wemba's death, advises artists, managers to seek good healthcare checks

Don Jazzy's father, Collins Enebeli has released a statement on Facebook Tuesday advising artists and managers to always go to seek advice about their health following the sudden, unexpected death of Congolese singer, Papa Wemba.

"The sad news of the death of Papa Wemba is a wake up call for artists and their managers to see reason why promoters and event organisers need the services of healthcare service providers for artists while on engagement for their events to avoid preventable fatalities as this. Most artists due to their busy schedules are known not to be paying enough attention to their health and listening to their bodies which may have been under pressure and stretched to breaking point without them knowing it. Artiste managers need to insist that the services of a trained health personnel who specialises in handling celebrities is factored into their performance contract to ensure that artists are well monitored and looked after when on professional engagement anywhere in the world. That way, risks such as this will be detected early enough and efforts made to seek help before it is too late. In the past, The King of soul music James Brown died while on a series of shows lined up for him. The same thing happened to the King of pop Michael Jackson who died while also under pressure from preparations for his mother of all shows 'This is it'. We are yet to recover from the shocking news of the demise of the purple rain crooner Prince earlier this week and now it is our own dear Papa Wemba. This is the reason we must all see the need to engage the services of professionals like Vickie Roberts Hospitality services who had been a veteran advocate for our artistes to be given good health care checks and having standby health personnel when they are on duty call anywhere in the world. Like John the Baptist, she has been lending her voice to this call and this might just be one more last call for us to save the lives of our stars by doing the right thing as a stitch in time saves nine. May the soul of Papa Wemba rest in perfect peace,'' the statement read.

Niger Delta: Militants attack Fulani herdsmen, threaten to cripple Nigeria's economy

The Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) has threatened to cripple Nigeria's economy if President Buhari does not hold a Sovereign National Conference for Nigerians to choose whether they still want to stay together.

The militants also condemned the atrocities of the Fulani herdsmen, and criticised Buhari for not calling them to order.

The NDA, in a press statement titled: NIGERIA IS A FAILED ENTITY listed their grievances saying:

''…Clear example is the present administration where Fulani herdsmen whom are the kinsmen of President Buhari are above the law despite the killing and atrocities they have committed against farmers in the south and middle belt but the president can give a shoot on sight directive to military against the peaceful protest of the Indigenous people of Biafra.

''Other one is the 2016 budget where nearly all the major projects are channeled to the North even though the creeks of the Niger delta are in dear need of development to improve the standard of living.''

They also alleged that the Nigerian military has become a tool in the hands of greedy and selfish politicians, citing the Bayelsa and Rivers elections.

They also said ''The allocation of mining license is other crime this country is committing against its Niger Deltans. Where 80% of the oil blocs are allocated to northerners and the rest 20% is spread among the Easterners and westerners. THIS IS A CRIME AGAINST THE PEOPLE OF THE NIGER DELTA.

''After looking at all these injustices and devilish acts going on in Nigeria the Niger Delta Avengers concludes that nobody is loyal to this entity called Nigeria instead, we are insisting that the entity called Nigeria should break up and lets the South, East, West and North be govern by their own."

The militants also accused Buhari’s government of running the country like a military regime, adding that the rights of Nigerians are being trampled upon.

They said “The Niger delta avengers high command, which comprises of agitators from all ethnic groups in the Niger Delta, has concluded that if the president fails to hear our voice and refuse to call for the sovereign national conference.

''We will ensure its happens or we will employ our second option by crippling the economy of the country. We won’t stop at that but dead ready to take the fight out of the creeks and take it to cities like Abuja, Lagos, Calabar, Port Harcourt just to name a few. And Avengers are not interested in taking innocent lives, but we will defend territory and ourselves .

''To our brothers in the Nigeria Military we can still welcome you back home with open arms but don’t think we will spare you if you attack us.''

The Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) is a new militant group in the Niger Delta which claims that its membership cuts across all oil producing states of the region.

Barrister Oparaugo… Selling Opportunities In Africa To The World

"With vast resources and opportunities for investments and businesses, the unavailability of information, more than anything else, have hindered corresponding massive investments coming into Africa. This, of course, is explainable. Without information, it sure would be an uphill task to access any country’s investment opportunities. However, there appears an end in sight to this challenge and Africa may just be full of smiles soon.  Footprint to Africa Limited, a platform dedicated to reporting on investment opportunities in Africa to investors all over the world, is here to bridge that gap."

The very words of Osita Oparaugo, a lawyer,  President and CEO of Footprint to Africa Limited, and he is being driven on this initiative just because he wants to be part of Africa’s success story.

The Lekki based entrepreneur  is using his innovative platform Footprint 2 Africa to promote foreign investment in Africa by highlighting areas with potential growth and high investment returns for investors who want to be part of the African success story.

It is an online news platform that reports daily on such opportunities as they unfold in all African countries. With 22 correspondents stationed across Africa and 18 in-house staff members, it interviews heads of states, heads of businesses and government agencies, gathering the best of investment information for would-be investors.

The entrepreneur is on a mission to reposition Africa  economically and is creating a new path  into Africa as his platform is daily informing and helping to expose investment opportunities in the continent.
“We recognize that unavailability of proper investment information is a major setback to developmental growth and that it contributes to lack of basic market data which not only prevents attempts to generate proper market insights but also creates a strong barrier to foreign direct investment in Africa,” Oparaugo says of what led to the birth of the initiative.
Oparaugo, is a British trained-lawyer and who also did Project Finance and Business Strategy at Harvard, he is Imo's gift to Africa and the world ,and  a worthy Ambassador of the state.

IMO ENTREPRENEUR - C.E.Os of Orange Drugs, Associated Bus Company (ABC Transport) and Roudo Construction to battle for the spoils.
Sir Tony Ezenna C.E.O Orange Drugs

Very few people on earth are actually pencils in the hands of God.Anthony Ifeanyichukwu Ndubuisi Ezenna is one of them. He was neither born great nor with silver spoon in his mouth but through the dint of hard work, abiding faith in God and the Almighty’s special favor,  Ezenna would later acquire the proverbial silver spoon and achieved greatness on his own.

As a child under the tutelage of his father, Ezenna demonstrated early in life that he was destined to be a shrewd entrepreneur and business administrator. His resourcefulness in handling his father’s business at a young age signposted the success that would later litter his path as a businessman. Thus, driven by hard-work, self-discipline and diligence, the young Anthony was to branch out of his father’s to establish Orange Drugs. The year was 1988. The modest take off of the young company was in Owerri, the Imo state capital.

The birthing of Orange Drug was of course the beginning of Tony’s many other mile stones that would establish him as an industrialist and business mogul, on the same pedestal as Aliko Dangote, Jim Ovia, Tony Elumelu, Femi Otedola among other leading business czars in Nigeria.
Anthony Ndubuisi Ezenna has his imprint scattered in sands of time.As a businessman, job creator and employer of labour,he has saved many young Nigerians from labouring in vain in the labour market. Many of these young Nigerians are currently on the employment  of the Orange Group, Orange Drugs ltd, Orange Soap factory Onitsha, Orange West Africa, Orange Kalbe among others.

His generosity knows no bounds, his kindness is limitless and his love for the needy exceptional.
he brings hope to those in despair and rekindle life in the famished. In 2006, to further drive home his passion for the poor, Ezenna set up the Tony Ezenna Foundation with the sole aim of providing scholarships and financial support to families that cannot afford to send their children to school.

Ezenna believes in his fatherland and has demonstrated patriotic fervor to Nigeria by electing to site all his companies in Nigeria, always insisting that “if you don’t love your country, then you can love nothing…my affection is for my own country, then, generally, for all mankind”.

Frank Nneji- Founder, Associated Bus Company [ABC] Transport Limited
Necessity is the mother of invention, the sages have long taught us; if you are uncomfortable about something then do something about it, the motivational speakers have since drummed into our ears. Are they right? I sure believe they are!!!
What else can transform a company which started two decades ago with about N1 million share-capital to N800 million? Or diversify an ordinary road transport company into a multi-faceted, hydra-headed business empire spanning the hospitality, haulage, and courier industries?  A worthy invention I say and a man of character at the helm of affairs.

Frank Nneji is that man and Associated Bus Company [ABC] Transport is the company. the story of persistence and entrepreneurial dexterity which has translated to 20 plus years of leadership in the transport market-place, job opportunities and added value to the country at large is awesome

From this venture, he made enough money to travel to Italy on a student rebate ticket where he purchased clothing items for sale.

As soon as he was done with the burden of studying, Nneji dusted out his entrepreneurial shoes for good. He set up a company, Rapido, which supplied educational materials. He started out supplying writing boards, most of which he made himself and he grew that little board company into the leading producer and marketer of audio-visual products in West Africa.

With a loan and 5 Hiace buses, the dream was on; and boy, did it catch fire. Hitherto existing bus companies started attempting to pattern their services after ABC’s, Their operations in Nigeria spans the entire country; north, south east and west. They have even gone on to establish a Coach West Africa in 2004 which journeys through the West African countries in a scenic, informative and actually entertaining ride In 2006, ABC transport became a Public Liability Company, making it the first transport company in Nigeria to be mentioned on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
