Stevie Wonder talks about Prince's death, plays 'Purple Rain'

Stevie Wonder is opening up about the shocking death of his friend Prince.

Stevie appeared on Anderson Cooper 360 live via satellite on Thursday night to discuss the news and pay tribute to Prince with a piano rendition of ''Purple Rain.''

''Well, it’s a heartbreak and I was shocked. I didn’t believe it. I find it so hard to believe,'' the 65-year-old singer said. ''In this journey of music, we as artists create a reflection of society and the people really want to see a better world, a better people, a unity of people, all of things, as did his music too and will continue to do for those of us who will continue to listen to it. It’s heartbreaking to lose a member of that army of love.''
