According Minnesota state law, if there is no will, the estate would go to the deceased's closest living relative and that is his 55-year-old sister, Tkya.
Since Prince was not married at the time of his death and his parents have also passed on, the estate would go to his sister, who was seen greeting fans outside of Paisley Park on Thursday afternoon April 21.
Prince's has a reported net worth of $300 million, on top of his catalog of music.
Prince died at the age of 57.
