''It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57. There are no further details as to the cause of death at this time,'' publicist Yvette Noel-Schure told Los Angeles' KTLA.
Prince‘s death comes just after he was hospitalized after battling the flu for several weeks, his rep said. His airplane had to make an emergency landing to get him medical attention on Friday April 15. Our thoughts and prayers are with Prince’s family and friends.
