Ebola screening in Lagos airport, Nigeria - WHO

Nigeria is screening air passengers at Lagos airport for Ebola symptoms. WHO is working with the Ministry of Health of Nigeria to assure border checks across the country. Scroll down for more photos...

A passenger arriving at #Lagos airport, #Nigeria, was suspected with #Ebola. She was escorted by Dr Aileen Marty from WHO to a quarantine area to get medical care.  As countries are now improving their screening at ports for people showing Ebola symptoms, reports of Ebola suspect cases are expected. Many of them might not actually have Ebola, but malaria, dengue or other illness as these diseases are showing similar symptoms.

Passengers about to depart from #Lagos airport, #Nigeria, are being checked for their body temperature to make sure they don't have fever - one of Ebola symptoms.
