Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama has urged people to take to social media to tell the "good news" about the continent.
''In one tweet, we share the news of our lives with the world. Let's share the good news of Africa to the world. Let's tell our story. Technology has given us a new platform to do that better,'' he said.
Talking about youth unemployment, he said;
''Youth unemployment is a challenge across the globe, but more so in Africa. We must take it as a major challenge and find solutions. Farida Bedwei, an outstanding and shining African that must be celebrated. We are better off coming together and integrating than remaining single countries.''
Farida Bedwei is a Ghanaian software engineer was born in Lagos, Nigeria, she spent her early childhood life in Dominica, Grenada and the U.K.. Her family moved to Ghana when she was 9 years old
