Ghana's Police investigate acid pour on a prominent opposition politician by unknown attackers

Police in Ghana are investigating the death of a prominent opposition politician who died after some unknown attackers poured acid on him while he was in his car.

The death of Adams Mahama, a regional chairman for the New Patriotic Party, comes amid a row within the leadership of the party.

Ghanaians are shocked at the level of violence that has characterized the largest opposition party just a year to general elections.
