BREAKING: Buhari commiserates with Sports Minister Dalung on his wife's death from London

President Buhari commiserates with the Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung on the death of his wife, Mrs Briskila Dalung, who died after a brief illness on Sunday January 29 in Jos.

In a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja by Nneka Anibeze, the Special Assistant, Media to the minister, said the president commiserated with Dalung through the telephone from London.

Anibeze said the president prayed that God will grant the soul of the departed eternal rest.

He also prayed to God to give the family she left behind the fortitude to bear the loss.

The president promised to support the Dalung family in their moment of grief.

The presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu quoted his principal (Buhari) on Facebook after he spoke by phone with the sports minister.

"I spoke with Sports Minister, Barrister Dalung, to commiserate with him on the death of his wife, Briskila. May her soul Rest In Peace," Buhari said.
