Jonathan visits Obasanjo in Otta on Friday - Photos

Former president Goodluck Jonathan visited Olusegun Obasanjo on Friday January 20  at the former president's residence in Otta, Ogun state, contrary to reports (yesterday) on social media that Jonathan was in the United States of America attending the inauguration of Donald Trump.

Obasanjo shortly after their meeting spoke with reporters, he said: ''I want to say that we have it, Nigeria is a good country and we must never be tired of lifting the country up to the height that God has created it to be. And God did not make a mistake when he put all of us together and if He doesn’t want us to be together no power in the world will have made us come together.''

Adeyanju Deji, the former Director of New Media at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who first broke the fake news that Jonathan has been invited to attend Trump's inauguration, later took to his twitter handle after seeing pictures of Jonathan in Otta with Obasanjo, wrote, ''Now I have had a good laugh on the Jonathan in U.S thingy. 😂''

Present at the meeting was former governor of Osun state Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and a couple of other prominent politicians.
