President Jonathan withdraws from the 23rd African Union Summit due to the recent Abuja Bomb blast.

According to the Presidency's spokesman, Reuben Abati,the president is on his way to Nigeria now after the Bomb blast that rocked the nation's capital city,Abuja yesterday.

In his words;

"President Jonathan withdraws from the 23rd Ordinary Session of the African Union Heads of States and Government in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea due to the Bomb blast in Wuse 2, Abuja. We are heading back to Nigeria now as he was away for the summit when the unfortunate incident occurred."
