Femi Fani-Kayode to drag The Nation Newspaper to Court

Femi Fani-Kayode, the Director of Media and Publicity of the Jonathan campaign organization has reacted to a “slanderous” statement by Alhaji Lai Mohammed and published by the Nation Newspaper on the 3rd day of March, 2015.

In the offensive statement, Lai Mohammed was quoted to have said, amongst others, that the APC is “seriously concerned about his (i.e, Femi Fani-Kayode) mental health.”

However, in a swift reaction, Ahmed Raji and Co, acting on the instructions of Femi Fani-Kayode, has asked Nation Newspaper to retract the publication and apologise to Femi Fani-Kayode within 7 days or risk a claim of 5 billion naira as damages for the defamatory statement.
