Tourists and locals come together to rescue giant anaconda trapped in Colombian resort

Tourists captured the dramatic rescue of a giant anaconda, which had become trapped in bushes behind a resort in Colombia.

The snake is four-years-old, it weighs more than 100kgs (220 lbs), was estimated to be around 16 ft long and had been spotted injured on the side of the river bank, suffering from a gunshot wound.

To save the anaconda’s life, the rescuers escort the snake to a nearby lagoon four miles away from the reserve.
