Officials: Death toll in Yola mosque blast jumps to 27, as 96 injured

The death toll in Friday’s bomb blast at a Mosque in Jambutu, Jimeta, Yola, the Adamawa state capital,  has risen to 27, with 96 others injured.

According to spokesman of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Sani Datti, 27 persons were killed in the incident that occurred during Juma’at prayer, while 96 others were injured and evacuated to the Federal Medical Centre, Yola and the Specialist Hospital Jimeta, Adamawa state.
