Joseph Schooling beats Michael Phelps in 100m butterfly, wins Singapore's first ever gold

Joseph Schooling beats Michael Phelps in the 100m butterfly to win Singapore's first ever gold medal at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics.

Schooling, a 21-year-old Swimmer/athlete from Singapore, took home the gold with a record time of 50.39 seconds, which is his first medal.

Meanwhile, Michael took the silver medal in a three-way tie with South African swimmer Chad le Clos and Lazlo Cseh of Hungary. This marks Michael‘s 26th medal.
