Abdulmalik Dauda, the Acting Director General of the National Center for Women Development, has died.
Dauda died on Friday morning in an auto crash along the Abuja-Kaduna expressway while returning from an official assignment, his protocol officer, Mohammed Aliyu confirmed to NAN.
He was 57.
Dauda took over from Onyeka Onwenu on February 16, 2016, following the removal of 26 heads of government agencies and parastatals.
Dauda has since been buried according to Islamic rites in his home town in Niger.
He is survived by two wives and five children.
