Toke Makinwa: 'I am a testimony of what God's love can do'

Toke Makinwa took to Instagram on Saturday to share her very own relationship with God and encourages others to hand over whatever they are passing through to Him.

''God's ❤️ never dies,'' the 31-year-old Vlogger and On Air Personality said. ''Even when we are at our worst he loves us still. When things don't go well, we think God is definitely punishing us but sometimes he gives us tests to grow our faith. when we were children, we thought like children. Now we are grown, our thoughts have to grow too. Our faith needs to grow and the trials and strife we encounter helps to grow our faith.''

''He loves us in our struggles, he loves us at our best. It is not the kind of love you work for, don't get it twisted, you cannot earn his love. We are flawed and our flaws in his eyes makes us even more beautiful. How complex we are, makes us even more vulnerable in his eyes and he strives to make us; stronger, wiser and who we are meant to be. No matter how far you think you've gone away from his grace, remember the prodigal son. After all he did upon his return, there was celebration and shouts of joy. Let the love of God take over today. That burden, you've been carrying it way too long and I know it's not fair, I know you feel you don't deserve what you've been thru. Hand it over to God today, let it go and embrace his love. I am a testimony of what his love can do. God loves me and that's more than enough for me,'' she continued.
