The 29-year-old world No. 2 tennis player defeated Canadian Milos Raonic in three straight sets 6-4, 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (7-2) to win his second Wimbledon title on Sunday afternoon,
''I’m proud to have my hands on the trophy again,'' he said after the match. ''This the most important tournament for me every year. I’ve had some great moments here, but also some tough losses. The wins feels extra special because of the tough losses.''
Murray is the first British man to win multiple Wimbledon singles titles since Fred Perry in 1935.
