The iconic glass slipper takes center stage in this whimsical new teaser trailer for Disney’s 2015 Cinderella, which stars Lily James as a young Ella and Richard Madden as her Prince Charming.
‘Cinderella’ Trailer: First Teaser Of Disney’s Live Action Movie
Talk about a tease! Disney isn’t giving much away in its first Cinderella trailer, which doesn’t feature any footage from the film or even reveal its titular character. Nevertheless, Disney manages to inject tons of its trademark magic into this minute-and-17-second-long clip.
The camera swirls around a glittery, multifaceted object that, once we zoom out a bit and hear the music swell, turns out to be Cinderella’s glass slipper!
We then see a pretty blue butterfly flit around for a few seconds before finally making its home on the tip of the slipper.
That’s quite an introduction for one little shoe, but then again, we all know what a crucial role this slipper plays in reuniting Cinderella with her Prince Charming!
We can’t wait to find out more about the Kenneth Branagh-directed live action film!
