US Scored The 5th Fastest Goal Against Ghana in Football World Cup History [BRAZIL FIFA WORLD CUP 2014]

US forward, Clint Dempsey, scored the fifth fastest goal in World Cup history - netting against Ghana after just 32 SECONDS. Talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres then tweeted that it took her longer to look up where Ghana is in the world. Does it mean she's never heard of Ghana before?

The former Fulham forward weaved his way skillfully into the Africans' penalty area to give his side the lead their opening game in Natal.

It is the fastest strike so far at World Cup 2014.

Dempsey has more Premier League goals to his name than any other USA player.

The game ended:

USA          2

GHANA    1
